Our approach to accessibility
We aim to provide a website that can be used by people with different abilities, access needs, devices and assistive technologies. We are working towards meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These internationally recognised guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and more usable for everyone. We aim to ensure that visitors can:
Navigate the website using a keyboard
Enlarge or zoom page content without losing essential information
Read content presented with sufficient colour contrast
Understand pages structured with clear headings
Use links with meaningful and descriptive text
Access informative images through suitable text alternatives
Use the website on desktop, tablet and mobile devices
